The November 7th mutual aid drill for southern FL counties will be postponed until February. No date has been selected yet. Stay Tuned….
November 13th AM (yup Friday the 13th) will be the semi-annual Charlotte County Drill. All hands on deck.
As usual we will not know the scenario until about the Wednesday before. There will be a ROAR report request. Please fill out the ROAR report even if you can not participate.
WX4E VHF & UHF are back up linked and working!
There will be no meetings at Perkins the month of November and December. There will be no Drill in December. We will however still have our Wednesday evening Nets as usual.
W4DIG 10 & 11 UHF/HF are fully functional.
We will be changing the location of the Radio Room at the EOC this winter. We will keep you posted.
Finally a reminder to those who have to withdraw an RMD from their retirement accounts. CCFLARES is a non-profit entity and your tax deductible donation by 12/31/26 would be appreciated.
Cheers
Tom & Duwain
