Ametuer Radio Technician Course Starts 9-27-22 – for 4 Tuesdays, 9:30am – 12 noon. (First and Last class are in person classes with the FCC License Exam given immediately following the 4th class. Classes 2 & 3 will be online Virtual classes) The in person class & Exam will be held at the Oaks lll Clubhouse Library, 19505 Quesada Ave, Port Charlotte, FL 33948.
This course is aimed at members new to radio communications who are interested in obtaining their Technician License.
This is not a CERT requirement but is something we would like to offer to our members as a way to bridge the gap with critical auxiliary communications. This course will take place during the span of 4 weeks with 1 meeting per week. You need to have access to a laptop or iPad to bring with you to the in person classes as we will utilize an online platform for studying and testing purposes.
